The first week and a half we got some pretty good thunderstorms, which made for some mud puddles. The space we were at is right next to the Bath House, which is really nice as we can take long showers in their huge showers and not worry about running out of hot water. It was kind of tricky for Alan to park our trailer with all the trees as we have two slide-outs but he accomplished it...that's my man!
Alan and I enjoyed sitting on the benches by the river's edge and enjoyed the serenity of it all. Alan took his book to read while I took my camera to capture some of the beauty here.
There was a blue heron that flew by as I was shooting these pictures.
I think it was
looking for it's friend who was kicking back waiting for a fish to jump in the water.
As the sun was setting I looked across the water to see a beautiful home glistening with the gold of the sun.
The moon was peeking out to say hello and I was able to capture it before nightfall. I also took some interesting shots of the sky.

As you can see some of these pictures look like they could've been taken from outer space of the earth looking down at the oceans. That's why I chose to take them.
This was our first live-in home and will miss being here at the Bar Habor RV Park here in Abingdon. If you're ever in the area and looking for a great place to camp you might want to check it out. They have paddle boats that you can rent too and a nice playground for children and pets are welcomed as long as they're well behaved. There's even a house boat you can rent! You can go online and check out http://www.barharborrvpark.com/
Until the next entry, enjoy your happy wandering adventures!
